Essay writing promotes critical thinking whereby you reflect on an issue and reach a conclusion. It pushes students to assess different arguments so that they can come up with stronger positions. Through critical thinking, students learn how to observe different perspectives and views.
On the Occasion of National Technology Day , Cynthia Senior Secondary School organised an Essay Writing Competition
for the students of class IX to XII on 13.05.2022. Students were asked to write on the topic "Ancient Technology Of India and Challenges for the Future World".
The essay was judged on the basis of student's Vocabulary, Presentation, and Creativity. The Purpose of the competition was to encourage the students to enhance their thinking and writing skills. Students showed great deal of interest, enthusiasm and competitive spirit. It successfully achieved its objective of engaging students to stretch themselves intellectually with research, assimilation and impressive expression.
